My last day was spent exploring the Royal Botanical Garden and the Australian Museum on my own. It was nice doing things to my own agenda. I have to say the the botanical garden here sure beats the one we have at home. It is so vast and is right next to the ocean. I spent so much time there that I was left with only one hour to peruse the Australian Museum. They had the Deep Ocean exhibit going on, which reminded me of bittersweet memories of COSIA at the Lawrence Hall of Science. I basically only looked at the dinosaurs and natural history sections of the museum. Their displays were very good.
I ended my stay in Sydney with a fantastic finale. After a scrumptious dinner of beef udon, Esther, Lauren and I sung our hearts out for 3 hours at Karaoke World. It was great. We finished by
belting out Mr.
Brightside. All in all, it was the perfect ending to a fantastic stay.
Sydney, I will miss you.
